I am a photojournalist, specializing in the fields of editorial, multimedia, and documentary photography.

But, to be honest, I’m a bit of a contradiction.

Because despite my work as a freelance photojournalist over the past decade, I actually graduated from Grinnell College with a degree in Biological Chemistry. Yes. You read that correctly. A photographer with a penchant for biology, chemistry, and neuroscience. 

Photo Forward Media is the manifestation of that contradiction, finding my creative voice, and the source for all things multimedia created by Ben Brewer Photography — today and into the future. 

Because, as the great saying goes : "Don't build your house on rented land"
